Sister Ann Catherine Educational Society was incorporated as a Non-Profit Charitable Society in the Province of Nova Scotia with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Nova Scotia, on August 15, 2006, Registry Number: 3173816.

Sister Ann Catherine Educational Society was registered in accordance with the rules and guidelines of the Registered Charities and the Income Tax Act administered by Canada Revenue Agency, effective on July 23, 2007. The Charity's Business Number is: 84215 7125 RR0001.

As a registered Charitable Organization Sister Ann Catherine Educational Society is a member society governed by a freely elected Board of Directors, according to a registered Memorandum of Association and By-Laws.

Membership is open to any individual over the age of 18 years, who upholds the objects of the Society and contributes to the support of the Society in an amount to be determined at the General Meeting.
