What We Are

Our Mission
- To promote among Nova Scotians, serious committed private Catholic education.

Our Goals
- To provide financial assistance to students and schools committed to serious Catholic education.

- Since 2007, the Sister Ann Catherine Educational Society has provided various scholarships, awards, bursaries and other forms of financial aid to students and schools in Nova Scotia; all with the aim and purpose of promoting serious, Catholic Education.

Financial Integrity
- We issue tax-deductible receipts for all gifts.

About Our Patroness
- Sister Ann Catherine (Matilda "Tilly" Bates) was a legendary teacher, friend, and spiritual guide in Halifax for over 40 years for hundreds of students, and of crucial assistance in countless religious lives. More than a figure for students, Sister Ann Catherine had the ability to guide teachers as well.
